Being in the northern hemisphere, we are feeling the heat this summer and I thought that I would make my Christmas in July swap card. It was a part of a swap that I had a lovely time participating in.
Here's what you need for this card:
Poppy Parade card base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Trimming the Town DSP - 3 x 4"
Whisper White Cardstock - 2 1/2 x 3", 1/2 x 5 1/4", scrap for the gnome image
Gnome for the Holidays Stamp set
Blends Combo Pack - Soft Suede, Poppy Parade, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, Daffodil Delight, Ivory
With all of the uncertainty nowadays, I thought a small gift was in order for my fellow teachers of the department. As I am a science teacher, I thought that a themed science mask would be perfectly appropriate. I needed to make a gift box for each of my colleagues. The lovely Gilded Autumn specialty designer series paper made for a great choice for my lid and it paired perfectly with the copper metallic ribbon. Both of these items will be available for purchase starting August 4th 2020.
Materials I Used:
Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper
Copper Metallic ribbon (from the combo pack) 32"
Banners Pick a punch
Paper trimmer (I used it to score but you can use a score board)
Stampin' Seal+
Paper snips
The instructions are in the video below! Happy crafting!
So my children are no longer babies but I still have wipes lying around that I can use for this fantastic technique. The approach changes with every stamped image. Here is the card I made using the Floral Essence stamp set. The colors varied greatly from the card I made in the video tutorial below but that just shows you how easy these Stampin' Up! colors coordinate with each other!
This card was so fun to see all of the varied colors in the petals of the flowers bloom on the paper. I even stamped the envelope front and back flap. IF you have an observant eye you may find that the die cuts are not the traditional size. This is a trick I will teach you in an upcoming video!
My video tutorial below will show you how to make the card below.
