I wanted to have a soft look to the card and the leaves and chose Mint Macaron and Shaded Spruce as my colors for the leaves. The Soft Suede for the tree cut out seemed to be too dark so I did stamp off once before I stamped it to a piece of whisper white cardstock and fussy cut my image. Luckily this image is super simple to do as it is nearly a circle. The sentiment is a little tougher to cut out but could have been a strip of paper rather than a fussy cut image.
Stamping the leaves all over the Whisper White cardstock along with the inside of the card base tied the card together. These colors go together so well and it was a lovely masculine card to send to a loved one. The braided trim added such a nice touch. I did use my fingers to fray the ends of the knot I tied to add a little extra texture. Let me know what you think!

- Mint Macaron cardstock 3 3/4 x 5" (This creates a nice thin border around the stamped piece)
- Shaded Spruce ink pad
- Soft Suede ink pad (Stamped off for my image)
- Paper snips
- Braided linen trim about 12"
- Whisper White cardstock 3 5/8 x 4 7/8", a scrap of about 3 x 5" for both the tree rings and sentiment
