Bright Under My Umbrella Card

Creating a bright card was on the agenda when the weather turned gloomy! Here's what I was able to come up with. Now if this card isn't bright, I don't know what is.

I used water painters to create a background with Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green on our watercolor paper.

  • Mango Melody card case 5 1/5 x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4
  • Watercolor paper cut to 3 3/4 x 5"
  • Granny Apple Green ink pad or reinker (I use my block to pick up some ink from the pad or you could simply add a drop of reinker to a block)
  • Coastal Cabana ink pad or reinker
  • Scrap of Coastal Cabana to stamp the rain boots and fussy cut it out with paper snips
  • Scrap of Mango Melody (I used this to cut out the boots and layer it onto the Coastal Cabana image of boots, leaving the top and soles of the boots)
  • Scrap of Granny Apple Green for the umbrella
  • Scrap of Basic Black Cardstock to punch out the umbrella handle and adhere with a glue dot to the umbrella punch out
  • Polka Dot Tulle ribbon 10" or so
